And so it was… when M left Venezuela to live in Germany, F promised to take her to see Europe. After one or two cities, M said she wanted to go to Paris, to which F replied: why? We can go to Lisbon, which is one of my favourite cities.
It was love at first sight! Lisbon took a special place in M and F’s hearts and was even where F proposed. 🙂
Of course, this could only be the city hosting their international wedding.
It was a very special and intimate day, marked by some challenges during the planning and some adventures that now make everyone laugh.
The concept was to welcome guests in a more relaxed, friendly way so they could experience a little of the destination, too. And so it was: at the magnificent Vandeli, right in the centre of Lisbon, they dined outdoors and enjoyed a superb view over the city and the bridge.
But it wasn’t just Lisbon; we also had the traditional Tequenos, typical of Venezuela, and the crazy Hora Locca, a Latin American tradition.
It was undoubtedly a beautiful day and will remain a unique memory forever.
