T&A arrived in Lisbon three days before their destination wedding in Sintra.
Yes, the pressure was on me, but I had done my homework and provided the information they needed in the most loyal and accurate way, so there were no surprises, only the assurance that they had made the right decision.
Bride T was an artist. She created great mockups of her design ideas and crafted lovely and meaningful details to enhance their guests’ experience without forgetting their profiles, personalities, love stories, and pets, too!
On my side, I worked to bring all their ideas and requests to life, providing input and guidance on how to make this all work.
The concept was based on a fairytale wedding in the romantic village of Sintra.
To achieve this, the flowers had warm but romantic tones, we had elements of romantic art, such as the flower pedestals, and the cute statues. The tables had stronger tones and a mix of elements… from dark blue napkins, to blue and white charger plates (something so Portuguese), the elegant candles, the colourful flower arrangements and the hint of fruit to create an even more dynamic look.
This wedding resembles my concept of a Destination Wedding in Portugal: a remarkable city, a venue with a historical background and full of character, meticulously designed and intentionally created details, and a meaningful day planned for guests coming from very distant places (like Vietnam, for example) to enhance their experience.
